A plano-convex lens consists of a flat surface facing the point of light or the focus point and a convex spherical surface facing the parallel light, which can be used to correct deviated light or to focus parallel light.

Positive focal length lenses have flat surface on one side and spherical surface on the other. They are used for focusing beams in telescopes, collimators or condenser systems, optical transceivers or other applications. PCX lens up to 500 mm diameter are available. Under customers request lens are anti-reflection coated (please refer to the Coatings service).
